Teenagers Scare the Living S*** Out of Me!

Christine MoersTeenagers are more likely to be impulsive and struggle socially and emotionally. Sometimes it seems they are angry over nothing and will argue until their tongues fall out of their mouths. How do we balance empathy for their rapidly changing brain with parenting them (and being legally and financially responsible)? In this session attendees will:

learn about ongoing brain development in teens and why it makes them do what they do; understand what it means to collaborate with your teenager; leave with several scripts and conversation prompts; and receive resources for building healthy boundaries that expand through the teen years.
